The translation phase of the text “Un perrito color té claro” was quite a difficult process. It was really interesting to see the difference between the Spanish language across different cultures, e.g. Spain and Latin America. Since the text I have chosen to translate is by a Colombian author, I came across many difficulties while translating it. The Spanish language taught in my university is different from the one in Latin America, the language which I faced within this particular text.
